HGV Preventative Maintenance Inspections (PMIs)

2 axle comprehensive inspection*, grease up and lubricant levels check including tyre pressure check and adjust and wheel nuts checked for tightness.

Maintenance and repairs.

Labour £48 per hour.

An additional 1 hour travel will also be charged for each visit to cover time and transport costs. Please note that we do not charge any additional mileage.

All prices are exclusive of VAT – charged at the current rate.

*We are proud of our comprehensive vehicle inspections, we believe it is vitally important that all the items below are checked to maintain and prevent the premature, costly failures of any of your vehicles components. Therefore our thorough inspections take approximately one hour per axle and will include the following checks, along with a certificate of thorough inspection for your maintenance records.

All VOSA required items checked.
Full grease up of vehicle and any chassis mounted body/equipment.
Wheel nuts torqued up.
Tyre pressures checked and adjusted.
Brake slack adjusters adjusted.
Engine, Gearbox and Differentials oil level checked.
Brake, Clutch, Battery and Windscreen washer fluid levels checked.
